OBASANJO COMMISSIONS IBADAN MEGA BUS TERMINAL, SAYS MAKINDE MAKING CITY LIVEABLE


Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has praised Governor Seyi Makinde's initiatives in Ibadan, saying they are focused on improving residents' quality of life and executing projects intended to make commuting easier.

Obasanjo made this known at the commissioning of the Ibadan Central Bus Terminal, Iwo Road, which has two mega bus stop stations constructed with waiting halls, eateries, ticket spaces, public conveniences, water reservoir, elevators, escalators, electrical power generating house and open vehicular parking space, among other facilities.

Makinde, who was also present, addressed concerns about the 110km Ibadan Circular Road project, acknowledging the protests and emphasizing the project's potential to drive economic growth and development in Oyo State. He assured that the government would engage with affected property owners, highlighting that the project would become the economic backbone of the state's future.
